The popular Semotiva food being produced and sold by Flour Mills of Nigeria in packs is now being abused by narcotic traffickers to smuggle drugs out of the country.
Femi Babafemi, Spokesman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA), exposed this latest tactics of the traffickers in a post on Facebook on Sunday.
In a post he prefaced as ‘Narco-trends’, Babafemi warned the public not to accept any food pack from anyone, except the one you pack yourself.
He wrote: “That parcel of packaged food item isn’t always what you think it is.
“Again, we insist, don’t accept any item not packed by you when traveling. Save yourself the ordeal.
