A presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has travelled to Saudi Arabia to attend this year’s Lesser Hajj (Umrah).
Photos emanating from Saudi Arabia saw the former Governor of Lagos in all white with others observing the Umrah.
Tinubu declared his interest to vie for the 2023 presidency in January 2022 after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja.
He has also toured the Southwest to consult with traditional rulers and stakeholders on his presidential ambition.

Tinubu had also met with former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (Rtd)tt0 in Minna, Niger State on his ambition.’
He had also toured some northern states to garner support for his presidential ambition.
However, the entry of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is likely to pose a threat to his presidential ambition, so going for the lesser hajj may be to offer prayers to God for his success.

Tinubu will come from hajj to face a stiffer APC presidential primary election where he will slug it out with Osinbajo and numerous others who have entered the race to succeed Buhari.
