President Muhammadu Buhari has authorised the appointment of Dauda Ali Biu as Corps Marshal and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC, for an preliminary time period of 4 years.
The appointment of Biu as Corps Marshal of the FRSC takes impact from twenty third December, 2022 after being in appearing capability since July.
An announcement from the workplace of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation notes that the President has renewed the appointment of Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye as Director General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for a closing time period of 5 years with impact from 1st December, 2022.
Similarly, Lanre Gbajabiamila retains his appointment as Director General of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission for a closing time period of 4 years with impact from twenty first November, 2022.
Meanwhile, 5 Executive Directors of some River Basin Development Authorities have been reappointed for a closing time period of three years with impact from twenty third November, 2022.
They are Bello Sani Gwarzo as Executive Director (Planning) of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority; Olatunji Babalola as Executive Director (Engineering) of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority; Adewale Adeoye as Executive Director(Planning & Design) Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority; Bashir Bala Zango as Executive Director (Planning) Sokoto Rima Basin Development Authority; and Ononuju Mary Nwabunor as Executive Director (Agricultural Services) Benin Owena River Basin Development Authority.
