At least one person is dead and 20 injured after an explosion at a large market in Armenia.
The explosion happened in a building at the Surmalu market, in the capital Yerevan.
Interfax news agency cited the country’s emergency services in saying that the building had sold fireworks.
The city’s mayor was quoted by Russian state news agency Tass as saying that a number of people were trapped in the rubble.
The market is just over a mile south of the city’s centre.
