The Interim Management Committee (IMC) and the 20 club owners will meet next week in Abuja to ratify the kick-off date for the 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
December 28 has been mounted as the tentative kick-off date for the new season.
The club owners have agreed on an abridged format, with the marketing campaign anticipated to finish in May 2023.
The 20 groups will be divided into two teams, with the prime two groups in every group assembly in a league format to resolve the eventual winner.
Meanwhile, some golf equipment will have to play their dwelling video games on impartial venues after their stadium failed to meet the required requirements.
Sunshine Stars, Nasarawa United and Lobi Stars are amongst the golf equipment affected.
