In an announcement on Thursday, Dec. 22, the group’s General Secretary, Tunde Amusat, stated Akintoye handed over management to his former Deputy, Prof Wale Adeniran.

Prof. Pegars has resigned from his place as the chief of the Yoruba self-willpower battle, Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide.

In an announcement on Thursday, Dec. 22, the group’s General Secretary, Tunde Amusat, stated Akintoye handed over management to his former Deputy, Prof. Wale Adeniran.

Amusat cited old age and a weakened physique system as Akintoye’s causes.

Amusat stated the worldwide congress of Ilana Omo Oodua held on December seventeenth, 2022, throughout which the group accepted Akintoye’s resignation and affirmed Adeniran as the new chief.
