Alleged N-Power Fraud: Provide evidence or I sue – Dbanj threatens Minister, ICPC – Pegars News

Popular singer, Daniel Oladapo popularly identified as Dbanj has charged the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, to present evidence of cash traced to his account.

Dbanj requested Farouq to clarify to the world how he happened the allegations of cash linked to his account by the ICPC.

Speaking by means of his lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, Dbanj threatened to institute authorized motion towards the Minister and ICPC over the alleged cash linked to him.

Describing his arrest as an injustice, Dbanj charged the minister and ICPC to apologize to him for his arrest.

Dbanj was arrested for allegedly diverting funds meant for the Federal Government’s youth empowerment scheme, N-Power.

After 72 hours, the ICPC launched the singer on self-recognition.

However, the singer maintained that he had no prison file, stressing that his arrest was embarrassing.

An announcement by Olajengbesi reads: “Nigerians should be informed the fact that D’banj is clear and have no prison or fraud file.

“The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, who claimed to have instructed the ICPC to detain D’banj should now be prepared to clarify to the world the cash traced to his account and the quantity.

“We nonetheless demand that the minister present the particulars of the authorities authority D’banj allegedly collaborated with and present the account and N-energy funds allegedly traced to Dbanj’s account.

“This is injustice and upon the instruction of our client, we may head to court to seek redress, a public apology and compensation from the ICPC.”

He maintained that ICPC detained him unjustly as a result of nothing incriminating was traced to him.

The singer stated it was embarrassing that the ICPC may hyperlink him to N900m fraud with out any evidence.
